XL Jade Girl

Platycerium willinckii ‘Jade Girl’ is a compact staghorn fern, and this listing is for a mature XL specimen. The smaller forms of willinckii earn their following with a lot of detail in very little space; this one has already done much of the waiting on your behalf. Like other staghorns, it grows shield fronds at the base and fertile fronds that carry spores when mature. The individual plant you receive matters more than any grand promise about the cultivar. Consider it the rare opportunity to skip the awkward childhood photographs and meet the fern after it has found its posture.
